Is Pogo Down –
Before doing troubleshooting turn off your modem and wireless router and wait for 30 sec and turn it on to make sure your computer has a proper internet connection.
If the site is up but you can’t access the page then follow the instructions given below.
- Make sure your computer or tablet have a correct date and time.
Browser Related Problems –
- You could try to reload the site directly from the Internet. Force a full refresh for the site. This can be achieved by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favorite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)
- Clear the history, temporary cache and cookies on your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page.
Clear The Browser’s Cache –
First of all, clear the cache from the browser. For that follow the instructions below-
- Open the settings of your browser. (Click on 3 dots)
- Open the history of your browser.
- Click on clear history.
- A list of checkboxes will appear along with the history of the browser, one such box is named cache, or checkmark all.
- Click on the clear data button.
- Now close the browser and restart the browser
Clear Your Temp File –
Press Windows keys + r and type in run command “temp” and hit enter and select all and delete them. Get A New Version Of JAVA –
This might be possible that there is no fault in the web browser you are using, but there is an error in the JAVA software you are using. First of all, remove the old version of JAVA by following the steps.
- Press windows key+r, a dialogue box will appear. Write appwiz.cpl.
- Uninstall your JAVA from there.
- Download the latest version of Java from https://www.java.com/en/

Disable Security Software Or Firewall –
Sometime failed page loads can be caused by anti-virus and firewall software as well. Disable them to make sure they don’t block pages.
Fix DNS Problems –
Clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you grab the most recent cache that your ISP has.
- For Windows – (Start > Command Prompt > type “ipconfig /flushdns” and hit enter).
- For Mac Os 10.7 or 10.8 – Launch Terminal and enter the following command, you will need to enter an administrative password. enter “sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder” and hit enter.
- For Mac Os 10.5 or 10.6 – Open up the application called Terminal and enter “dscacheutil -flushcache” and hit enter.
- For Mac Os 10.4 – Type the following command in the Terminal “lookupd -flushcache” and hit enter.
- For Linux – Enter sudo /etc/init.d/nscd restart and press the enter or return key.
Note – Ubuntu does not cache DNS per default. In ubuntu if you want to flush DNS cache you need to restart nscd daemon. Install nscd using the following command “sudo aptitude install nscd” and flush the dns as described above.
